Hay guyz, sorry the last couple of months have been so quiet, but I had to take some time off to get my creative streak back.  Good news is, MA Series 4 continues this week at last with 14 new issues, and a brand new double-parter Animated Special for Issue 350.

337 - 350 Begin Here

Issue 350 Animations (Original Flash Version), Issue 350 Animations (Youtube Version)

So this marks the halfway point for Series 4.  I still hope to finish it before the year's end, but I may be moving back to the States in November, and that will take up alot of my time.  So we'll see how it goes.

That's all for now, enjoy the update and see you smegheads again soon!

Sayu here again.  ToaD starts today, so go read the first issue.  "Last Regrets" by Ayana, the theme for the Kanon game/anime, can be listened to on the ToaD page.

Hay guyz, MA Series 4 continues this week with 7 new issues.  Red and Ayu continue to spend time together, while the rest of the crew prepare to join up at the arcade later.

330 - 336 Begin Here

I know Series 4 is progressing slowly, but I will push to have it done by the fall.  A teaser banner is up for the next series, Series 5.  For those MA readers who are missing the style used in Series 2, Series 5 should be a relief of sorts, as it will be the next action-themed series.

That's all for now.  Coming up on MA's 2nd anniversary in a month! 'Fo rizzle!

Guess who, Doc Who! Posted by Sayuri-Sama 7/25/2008

Remember me? The Artist Formerly Known as Sakura Ayomi? Yar, I can has returned at last! I am known by Sayuri-Sama now, but just call me Sayu.  After my long absence, I lost motivation for Chasing Amy, so I will start a new project in its place, Runay's old project Traces of a Dream (or ToaD/TD if you rather).  Today's update though isn't on ToaD but the new ACT 2 look for the NZ, and I have changed the banners/layout to the new ones that Goji created, plus a new stream for the NZ Radio Blast, a good Happy Hardcore station.  And if you hadn't noticed that our Crew listing dropped radically.... Kenshi, Rehd, Kiyoni, and Runay have indeed officially left the NZ, even though they have been inactive for sometime.

Hay guyz, teh Goji is back.  The past month has been quite busy for me, but things have eased up at last.  Now... onto the goods! MA Series 4 continues this week with 10 new issues.  Taka and Mai head to West City to visit Taka's mother Alita, while Red and Ayu spend the day together.

320 - 329 Begin Here

And the second issue of Da Moon Rulez! features some more banter between Ignignokt, Err, and Cliff.

Also, to avoid all the congestion on the MA comic index, S1 through S4 now have their own separate pages and links to the issues.  Each page also has an "Image Song" that represents the theme of the particular series.

This week's MA issues bring back the flashback narrative that was first introduced in Series 1, and briefly popped up in Series 3.  (Series 2 had one, but that was a flashforward narrative.)  By having Ayu entering the Korringwood group's story, it allows for situations in which some backstory can be delved into by Red.  This will be a reoccuring theme in S4.

The flashback that occurs in #322 made me realize that Korringwood Origins has some mistakes, as the existing issues do not portray Taka and the others at the age in which they were at the time.  As it correctly shows in 322, they were around 14 and 15 when they first met.  Since much of the story intended for Korringwood Origins will be shown throughout S4, I am considering other options for KO, such as a short story or something else.

That's all for now.  Coming up on MA's 2nd anniversary next month! 'Fo shizzum!
