BACKGROUND: Minako grew up with her family in North City, and spent her entire life there, until a school trip to the lands beyond East City led her to being lost in Korringwood. She was the last person to join Taka and Sakura's group, meeting them shortly before Sigma began his first attack. During the Alliance's attack on Korringwood, Mina saved Key's life, and they have been best friends ever since. From the beginning, Trance has had a massive crush on her, and is determined to make her fall in love with him. Mina is the clearly defined chatterbox of the group, her upbringing in North City making her a natural "Country-Girl" as she often likes to iterate. Unlike the rest of the Korringwood troupe, she comes and goes, often returning home to see family or continue her ongoing studies at North City University, which she now attends with Taka's sister Talia. Her positive nature and easy-going, simple-minded approach to life is always a refreshing boost to the Korringwood Crew, and they are not at their best until Mina is with them.
