BACKGROUND: The only son of Jyles (brother of Sonic's father Jules) and Alita Kumishiro, Taka was separated from his family after his father died fighting in the Great War of Mobius. Spending his childhood in the wilderness of the distant Korringwood Forest, he met and befriended several others, and together they built Korringwood Village. After a chance meeting with his cousin Sonic, he and his crew have left Korringwood to live in Knothole.  He was notorious for being a "useless fighter," unable to reach a super form and constantly relying on his Lightsaber (stolen from Zero) to fight.  In the original timeline, this was proven untrue when his super form was triggered during the fight against Vile, allowing him to match the villain's power and successfully fight him, though the two were merged in an energy orb, creating the deadly Takile as a devastating byproduct.  In the altered timeline, Taka ventured into Dimension Star to rescue Sally, and met Godzilla and Bruce Campbell, who would become his close friends in the future.  In this timeline, his super level was triggered by two hits to the crotch, and he MegaFused with Sonic and Shadow to form the powerful Sohaka.  Taka has what is best described as an enigmatic+magnetic personality, he is incredibly strange and it is this strangeness that keeps his family and friends close to him.  While he tests the patience of everyone he knows due to his notoriously geeky outward antics and banter, it is his unrelenting good-natured kindness to everyone that allows him to remain in such high regard and respect.  His sense of humor is goofy, consistently geeky, and slightly sarcastic, and his anger is often superficial or exaggerated, as it takes alot to push him to the brink of true anger.  Mixed in with a courageous, fearless nature, Taka serves as the highly-charged and energetic leader of the Korringwood crew.
