Thus, a long-standing rivalry between the two started, and prior to a vital duel, the remnants of a powerful meteor infused him with strange energy, the equivalent to Mobian Nega energy. This energy further distorted Tom's mind, and he became incredibly eccentric and displayed increasingly villainous tendencies. Upon hearing that Bruce's interest had turned to a dimension called Mobius, he quickly allied with Darth Vader and made his move to destroy the planet. This plan was thwarted by Bruce, Godzilla, and Sohaka.
